America was again today shaking after the discovery that Bernie “made off” Madoff’s 150 year sentence for fraud actually started off as a 2 year sentence. This was passed onto 3 other jurors for a further 2 years each – by the time it reached the bench 3 half centuries had been amassed. Police would not comment but are known to be looking in to the matter…
And the moral of the story – other than ‘don’t get caught’? Only screw that many people out ofthat much money when you know you’ll only survive 5% of any sentence handed down. I’m sure this was all a lot more fun with scratch cards…
