10 Questions To Ask Yourself Every Week

Often we don’t spot things have gone wrong until they are so far screwed that a solution seems impossible. Other times we look back and think “why did I waste my time on that, I should have been doing this”.
What is missing is a regular status update. Something often enough that we can notice when an element of our life is taking a turn, but simple enough that the thought of doing the update doesn’t fill us with dread and we never actually get around to it!
The following are 10 questions I ask myself once a week. I can go through them in the shower. Or in traffic. Or when my boss is rambling on about something I have lost interest in. But either way, I make sure I go through them every seven days. You don’t have to conclude anything from any of them – just reflect on the answers you give.
1) Are you happy right now?
2) Are you feeling 100% health-wise?
3) What are the favorite 3 things in your life at the moment?
4) What are the most stressful 3 things in your life at the moment?
5) Who in your life is making life a pleasure?
6) Who in your life is making life miserable?
7) What was the most rewarding thing you did last week?
8) What did you do last week that you most regret?
9) What did I try that was new last week?
10) What can I try than is new this week?
As I said – you don’t have to do anything other than think of an answer for each. Some weeks I decide I want an action point out of each question just to give myself a kick along, but other weeks I am just happy to have a just a bit more feedback on how I am actually doing.
